is a native New Yorker who is currently residing in the Washington, DC area. She graduated from Howard University with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degrees. After graduating from her master’s program, she became a school psychologist for Washington, DC Public Schools performing both assessments and intervention services. Early in her story she began her professional journey with a thriving Christian psychotherapy practice in her home town Westchester, NY, where she offered individual and family therapy.

Since the late 90’s, Dr.Richards worked in higher education as both a professor and an administrator. Professor Richards' taught at Spelman College, Georgetown University, University of the District of Columbia, The College of New Rochelle and other fine institutions across the US.

Dr. Richards has a Ph.D. in business psychology.  As a business psychologist, Soyini offers an array of consulting services to corporations and small businesses. She is practicing her two loves, psychology and business with excellence. Soyini also offers superior personal and education consulting services.

Soyini is the author of How to Fix Mistakes available on Amazon. She has a reputation for inspiring, motivating and transforming lives. She teaches, talks to live audiences and coaches people of all ages.  Dr. Richards has noteworthy success with youth, college students, women and leaders while exercising Biblical principles.  Professor Richards enjoys using her gifts from God to help people identify their callings and discover their true paths.

Dr. Richards has an extensive, as well as impressive network of friends and colleagues.  She enjoys collaborating with others to reach the community. Dr, Richards participates in private and public events delivering empowering messages. Recently, the professor began an organization called Teachers Festival to bring communities together to celebrate the hard work and dedication of educators.
